2011 Cornerstone Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Black Label, Stepping Stone Cuvée

Sometimes a Napa Cab can overpower your meal — not this 2011 Black Label Series Stepping Stone Cuvée by Cornerstone Cellars. Elegantly balanced fruit and tannins, this is THE perfect steak wine. We paired it with a bone-in rib-eye topped with a lovely pan sauce flavored with soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, chopped shallots and garlic; finished off with a splash of cream and butter. Add bacon-loaded mashed potatoes. The synergy between the wine and the steak made us say ‘Wow!’

88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot…100% delicious. ABV 14.3% SRV $45
