Santa Barbara Wine Tasting, Film Screening at FilmBar Phoenix May 15

FilmBar Phoenix will host a Santa Barbara County wine tasting in the premier screening of the multimedia documentary “VINTAGE2014” on May 15th in Phoenix, Arizona. VINTAGE2014Currently in production, “Vintage2014: The story behind the vines” is a multimedia documentary that gives wine lovers a journey through a vintage in real time, from bud break to barreling. A crowd-sourced project with initial funds from Kickstarter, Vintage 2014 is the brainchild of Executive producer, photographer and entrepreneur Wil Fernandez. This FilmBar event will kick off with a complimentary tasting of several wines featured in VINTAGE2014 — Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other varietals from Riverbench Vineyard & Winery, Buttonwood Farm Vineyard & Winery and Clos Pepe Estate Vineyard & Winery. For phots and videos from VINTAGE2014 visit the production blog at After an exclusive preview of VINTAGE2014, FilmBar will screen “Bottle Shock,” a 2008 comedy-drama based on the 1976 wine competition when California defeated France in a blind taste test. The event begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10. Bottles of Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Riverbench Vineyard & Winery will be available for purchase at the bar before and during the film. We have not yet tasted the wines from Buttonwood, but having tasted the wines from Riverbench and Clos Pepe, we suggest you buy your tickets ASAP to make sure you do not miss the event!
