80_Sips_Houston_logoAround The World in 80 Sips™ is a series of public events attended by hundreds of consumers in San Francisco, Washington DC, Miami, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Boston, Denver and New York. The events bring together young, professional wine enthusiasts to taste some of the world’s best bottles in a fun, interactive setting.

Bordeaux Wines and Chateau Montelena Winery join Astrolabe, Cannonball Wine Company, Heritage Link Brands, International Riesling Foundation, The Wine Sisterhood and Wente Family Vineyards to bring the Second Annual signature tasting to Houston.

80-plus one-ounce tastings from countries like France, Italy, Greece, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as the U.S. will be available to ticket holders. General admission tickets are sold out, but there are still Early VIP admission tickets available. VIP ticket holders get in early, and will enjoy tastings from special VIP-only bottles before the crowd arrives.

Beer Partner Samuel Adams will also be on hand to refresh your palate. Look for our own Houstonwino Joe Power and Wine Buffs April and Rob who will be pouring and talking about Bordeaux wines. The Event runs until 9:30 p.m. and special VIP tasting runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. VIP Tickets are $125, which includes the early tasting and the general event. VIP tickets can be purchased here.

Light appetizers will be provided, and please drink responsibly!

Proceeds will help benefit Snowdrop Foundation. Snowdrop Foundation helps fund research and celebrates the hope that one day a cure for all childhood cancers will be found allowing the purity of every child to remain untouched by the devastating diagnosis of cancer.
