Hurricane Edouard is heading for my front door
It is kind of scary and sort of exciting waiting for a really big storm to hit, and it is hard to look out my back door and see the hot bright sunny day and imagine that when I get up tomorrow right in the middle of one of Mother Nature’s temper tantrums. But that’s what they say is exactly what I will wake up to. I have plenty of supplies laid up…water, food and more than adequate supplies of wine…so all should be well. However, if the power goes out it may be a day or two before I post again. I wonder what wine goes with 50 mph winds? I will let you all know if I find a good match. Cheers! [UPDATE] Edouard turned out to be a pretty good thunderstorm in my area, but that’s about it. Lots of tree limbs down and my back yard is a big puddle, but certainly nothing warranting all of the hype (this time). Trackbacks: Trackback URL View Comments Please subscribe to our feed! PBR sucks. This is an immutable fact. Stop thinking that ordering it in some place that spent thousands on looking like a dive makes you cool. It doesn’t, it makes you a tasteless dupe. Trackbacks: Trackback URL View Comments Please subscribe to our feed! |
