Wine Bloggers Convention

When I first began this blog, it never occurred to me that it could be such hard work. How hard could it be for me to talk about wine, food and beer? I am very passionate about all three. While I do love writing about them, and all of the research that goes into it, having a successful blog requires a commitment. Commitment is never an easy thing, but that’s what makes it worthwhile.

It also means that you have to deal not only with the expected things like apathy, lack of inspiration, and writer’s block, but also, as I am finding out, hurricanes and “Comcastic” connectivity, or the lack thereof. Commitment gets you through it all.

Between October 24th and the 26th, I will be joining over 160 other folks in who have made the same commitment. I am really looking forward to meeting these people at the Wine Bloggers Conference in Sonoma, CA. and blogging from Wine Country for a few days.
